★What Is the Chara-fine Print Technique?
It is a print technique in which designers with strong expertise in character design and character products planning operate an ultra-high performance printer. This printer has twelve ink colors and it is also used to create replicas of national treasures or important cultural properties whose exhibitions are restricted by directives of the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
For the paper, we use deluxe paper made especially by a papermaker for hanga Japanese prints.
Its softly uneven surface makes anime artworks look like paintings.
Its quality has earned a high reputation among professional firms in the character business, such as anime production studios, game companies, publishing companies, and TV channels.
